Kavalhuna explained there's a difference in the clock broadcasters saw versus what the reviewers saw. He said he wanted a way to appeal the decision, but no appeals are available. He also expressed that the Broncos players have "gone through something really hard" and experienced "gut-wrenching pain" with the controversial loss.
During his recent podcast remarks, Meyer asked, "What the hell do you even say to your players?" as a coach after experiencing a result as they did, but "you gotta move on." According to Meyer in his recent comments, Western Michigan was the better team this past weekend, and he was more interested in hearing what the players who experienced that crushing result had to say about their efforts in that game. "The reality is, Western Michigan has a really good team. ... They were the better team on the field in Ann Arbor, and certainly in the second half they were," Meyer said of the Broncos.
