Rising American tennis star Amanda Anisimova built some extra confidence amid a down season with an impressive victory over No. No. 19 seed Alexandra Eala at the Cincinnati Open this week. Eala, who won her first WTA singles title in Washington last month, started strongly, breaking in the 10th game of a tight first set to take it 6-4.
The second set remained on serve until Anisimova broke in the seventh game before holding her next two service games to level the match at one set apiece with another 6-4 win. In the decider, Eala broke early to lead 2-0, but Anisimova stormed back, winning the next six games in a row to close out a 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 victory in 2 hours, 28 minutes. But it wasn't Anisimova's play that stole the show.

A clip of the incident went viral, garnering more than 10 million views and over 800 reposts. "Could be apple cider, Brett," Davenport said.
"I mean, I would never suggest that a player was drinking a beer in the middle of a match, but that’s certainly what it looked like," Haber remarked. Haber later revealed the truth: "We can confirm via one of our courtside camera operators that Anisimova asked for and was delivered a Red Bull. That is the mystery bevvie," he explained on the broadcast.
