Another neighbor, Marlene Devaney, described the area as "a great neighborhood bringing up kids," while Emily Ottens said Clancy's parents were "wonderful people" and "very nice." The couple has one other daughter, Allison Ozga, who has also testified on behalf of her sister.
During her testimony, Paula Musgrove described her daughter as a devoted mother whose mental health deteriorated in the months before the tragedy. Campaign organizers say the couple relocated from their Connecticut home to Massachusetts so they could remain close to their daughter during the legal proceedings.
