The 31-year-old flew into Nashville for a work conference. His last known sighting was captured on police bodycam.

A Colorado man who went missing after traveling to Nashville for a work conference has been found dead, police said on Thursday night. "We are saddened to report that Conor Anderson was found deceased this evening in a wood line adjacent to a parking lot at 14 James Robertson Parkway," the Metro Nashville Police Department said in a post on X. "There are no immediate indications of foul play.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.” Anderson, 31, had flown into Nashville for a work conference on August 15 and checked into the Millenium Maxwell House hotel, police said in a statement on Wednesday. He was last seen early on the morning of August 16, when he approached two police officers in East Nashville. "Anderson, around 1 a.m. on Sunday, flagged down two East Precinct officers as they were driving by to report an interaction he had with unknown individuals outside of a nearby bar," police said.

"Anderson said he’d given the men $20 to ‘show him around the area.’ The men reportedly walked off with his cash and Anderson wanted the officers to know.” Body camera footage of that interaction showed one officer had questioned whether Anderson had been attempting to buy drugs. Police said the officers had explained that in order to make a formal report they would need his driver’s license, but Anderson refused. This is a developing story; more to follow.
