Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has already put together an impressive resume throughout the first nine years of his NFL career. However, Allen can build further upon it in Week 8 as he is on the cusp of breaking one of former quarterback Tom Brady's records. According to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk, if the Bills beat the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Allen will move to 102 career wins, including both the regular season and the postseason, and give him one more than Brady’s total in his first nine seasons.
Allen, 30, hasn't had the same success as Brady when it has come to hoisting Vince Lombardi trophies, but being mentioned in the same realm with him in regards to wins is an impressive feat, nonetheless. He will eventually have to get the monkey off his back if he wants to cement himself as one of the true greats, but Allen's resume is one that deserves respect. Believe or not, however, Brady doesn't hold the actual record.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes won 112 games in his first nine seasons, while former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is second with 107 wins in his first nine seasons. Mahomes has tended to be Allen's kryptonite through the start of their careers, so Allen if wants to finally get one up on Mahomes, he will need to defeat the Ravens and win 11 more times before the Bills’ postseason is over. That will certainly be a storyline worth monitoring the rest of the season.
