The Denver Broncos are going to be an interesting team to watch between now and the trade deadline. The Broncos are at the top of the AFC West with a 6-2 record and should look to add to their roster. One of their top needs is another impactful running back, and they have been linked to Indianapolis Colts star Jonathan Taylor because of it.
Now, a major update regarding the Broncos' interest in Taylor has been announced. According to DNVR Sports' Zac Stevens, the Broncos are going to do whatever it takes to try to land Taylor from the Colts. "I believe the Broncos are going to do everything in their power to trade for Jonathan Taylor.
This could happen at any moment. You might not want to go to sleep, Broncos Country." Taylor said. "The Broncos are going to try to pull this trade off, from my understanding.
They want Jonathan Taylor now." Stevens added. Given the Broncos' needing for a star running back, it makes sense that they want to land Taylor. He would be a game-changing addition to their roster and would help their offense out tremendously.
The truth can be seen in his stats. In eight games this season with the Colts, Taylor has posted eight touchdowns, 148 rushes, and 610 rushing yards. This is after the seven-year NFL veteran had 18 touchdowns, 323 rushes, and 1,585 rushing yards in 17 games during this past season with the Colts.
With numbers like these, he would be a major pickup for a contender like the Broncos. It will be interesting to see if Denver can land him from here.
