@115663 it depends where in india you are born and to what caste. Sadly caste is still a huge factor for life outcomes in india. In india, if you are born into a lower caste( especially in rural areas) life will most probably suck despite affirmative action and education/job reservations for lower castes and scheduled tribes. However, if you are high caste or your community has found a niche that allows you to be upper middle class, life can actually be much better than in azerbaijan. India has a growing tech sector and education at the top levels is usually pretty good (I.I.T). Meanwhile azerbaijan is corrupt as hell and the government under aliyev has stifled any economic competiton. I think without gas azerbaijan will be fucked economically.
