Malik Nabers, who suffered a torn ACL injury in Week 4 of the 2025 season, was a full participant in each of the New York Giants' three practice sessions this week. However, Nabers is still listed as questionable to play in Sunday night's Week 1 matchup against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys. When speaking to reporters on Thursday, Nabers expressed caution about rushing back into action, saying "I can't put my career at risk." The third-year wide receiver said the Giants are leaving the ultimate decision up to him.
Nabers' wide receiver teammate Odell Beckham Jr. has quite a bit of experience dealing with serious long-term injuries. "The only thing that I've said is there's going to be that bit of fear and anxiety. And that's a natural thing," Beckham told reporters of Nabers' hesitancy.
But deep down inside, it's a decision for him because at the end of the day... he's the one who's affected." "Teams get to make a decision about keeping you and then things could go wrong. So, my advice for him is like when you are ready and you feel it, that's when you come back." "He's done a great job with his rehab. And whatever decision he makes, everybody in here is going to stand behind him," Beckham continued.
"And I think we're all excited to have him back." Sunday's Week 1 matchup against the Cowboys will kick off at 8:20 p.m.
