Donald Trump Jr. underwent a procedure to define his jawline before his Bahamas wedding to Bettina Anderson, according to the couple's wedding spa. The Florida Spa, Pure Skin Palm Beach, posted on Instagram after the couple’s wedding, where they wrote that it was a “pleasure” to get to know Trump Jr. and “helping him prepare for the big day with customized @ultherapy treatments to naturally define his jawline.” The post confirming the procedure was made on June 26, and the pair tied the knot over Memorial Day weekend in May. But attention has been drawn to the post after a ProPublica report published Monday alleged that Umar Kremlev, a Russian oligarch and close ally of President Vladimir Putin, covered hundreds of thousands of dollars in wedding expenses for the couple.
Newsweek has contacted a representative for Trump Jr. and the Pure Skin Palm Beach spa for comment via email. Anderson addressed the report in a post on Instagram on Monday, where she said that Kremlev “hosted two incredible nights of celebrations for us AFTER our wedding. It was an extraordinarily generous wedding gift from a friend.” She rejected allegations that Kremlev’s involvement carried political significance.
"It's unfortunate that something so personal and happy can be recast as something political or sinister simply because of who someone is or where they come from," she wrote in the post, adding, “Friendship doesn’t require a political motive,” and calling the report “fake news.” Ultherapy is a nonsurgical cosmetic treatment that uses focused ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen production beneath the skin. According to information shared on the manufacturer’s website, it is “The only treatment cleared by the FDA for lifting the brow, skin on the neck and under the chin as well as improve lines and wrinkles on the décolleté.” Celebrities including Salma Hayek have spoken publicly about having undergone the treatment. The Ultherapy website states that good candidates for the treatment are “typically, those in their 30s who have mild to moderate skin laxity.” When used on the lower face, the treatment is intended to improve skin laxity and create the appearance of a sharper, more defined jawline.
The procedure does not involve incisions or significant downtime and is often marketed as a less invasive alternative to surgical facial rejuvenation, as while Ultherapy is not the same as a face-lift, it can be used for facial lifting. News of Trump Jr.’s pre-wedding procedure comes amid growing interest in what is often called “tweakments,” a term commonly used for minimally invasive cosmetic procedures that subtly enhance someone’s appearance without dramatically altering facial features. Traditional treatments include Botox and dermal fillers, but the trend has expanded to include procedures like skin-tightening and collagen-stimulating treatments.
These can reduce signs of aging and help maintain a youthful appearance. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, men underwent 98,798 cosmetic surgical procedures in 2024, as men come to represent a growing segment of the aesthetics market. Meanwhile, a 2026 industry report citing American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery survey data said 92 percent of facial plastic surgeons now see male patients.
