discuss both views and give your opinion
there are some people believe that parents should teach children how to be good and beneficial members of society while others suppose that school is the best place to provide children to learn this. i will argue that in both parents and schools have the same duties for teaching them.
firstly, it is obvious that parents are powerful role models for children and also naturally children learn through imitation, so for the reason that they mimic what they see on their parents. for instance, if their parents are kind, well-educated, good for society, surely they will try to have the same characters, prominent aspects and imitate as their parents do.
secondly, some groups of people think that school have essential responsibilities to teach children to be good members of society to compare with parents. in turn, they assume parents are too busy for doing it whereas schools ensure children with education and also teach them on social values. moreover, schools are the best place to practice what they learn from parents as well as teachers.
as far as i am concerned, either parent or schools have equal influence on children. they cannot be provided by one. if they encounter bad situations at home or if their parents do not have necessary qualities, certainly it will impact them badly and only schools cannot help them in that way.
in conclusion, as i mentioned before, the most effective method to help them to become good members of a community is to teach them at home and at school too.
